My first attempt at recording my own ambient/noise composition. Originaly recorded in 2013 I believe. I have been playing around with electric guitar noises and effects and stompboxes for as long as I can remember since first picking up the electric. The piece has a firm structure but the movement from one section to the next is being executed in a more or less improvised fashion, when each moment evolves naturally into the next one. It was important to me to perform it live without any editing or overdubbing. It's all just a guitar and effects in real time. 

     Back then I have recorded four versions of the thing. I have saved two of them. The variability of the piece with every performance made me decide not to limit myself to only one. Coming back to the work after all the years I had to make some necessary "remastering". Looking at both of the tracks in my computer I saw they are almost identical. After all it's the same composition. It sparked the idea to hear them simultaneously in stereo. However childish or insane it seemed to be I think it sounds proper and I like it this way. Obviously some editing was necessary - one of them was about two minutes longer than the other and so on.. but the editing really was minimal. I think this way Pylon15 can go out there in the world. 

     I've decided to share with you also the original two track of the original idea and pure performance. I believe If someone is already interested in this weird stuff they might be interested in these as well. You'll find them on my Youtube channel exclusively.

     This little EP consists of three individual compositions. I’ve decided to call id „D“ because they are all in the same tuning - D A D F# A D. What a concept, right? But really, I believe they belong together for that reason. The other reason is that they are all pieces for solo acoustic guitar. Two for a steel string, one for classical. Each one of them covers a different part of my head. They are playbacks on Full power shanti though, two more guitars playing identical part with the original one and a bass guitar. I felt it is proper for the sound of the piece. Thanks to Jakub Šimáně and his lovely home studio, Broněk Šmíd - a mastering master and Radek Mauer aka Dante2 for the great cover art that matches my vision, as always.
